So Fidel Castro's doctor says Castro is healthy enough to live to 140. Guess that means the beardy putz is gonna go any day now....

Longevity -- I hear the 17-year cicadas are back in the Eastern States. I remember the last time back in '87 when I was living outside of DC. The noise was unreal. We dont' have them here, but it is definitely love-bug season. My poor car.

Those cicadas were around during my h.s. graduation. I almost crashed my car on the way to graduation rehearsal because one flew in my window and landed in my hair and I freaked out. LOL

We really don't have 'em down here *knock wood* but I am dreading going up home this weekend because of them.

Why do they only show up every 17 years?

I know that's their life cycle, but I'd think there would be a new generation maturing each year.
