So Fidel Castro's doctor says Castro is healthy enough to live to 140. Guess that means the beardy putz is gonna go any day now....

Longevity -- I hear the 17-year cicadas are back in the Eastern States. I remember the last time back in '87 when I was living outside of DC. The noise was unreal. We dont' have them here, but it is definitely love-bug season. My poor car.

Cicadas? Or love bugs? (or both!)

I don't mind the love-bugs, other than the mess on the car. They're harmless.

Those cicadas, though, creep me out. It sounds like an alien invasion.

well, it's a death sentence in general for bugs to show themselves in my presence, but the cicadas are appently where this phobia originated. I was about 9 the last time the came around, and woke up with one ON MY ARM!!! T'was the first time I freaked out to the point I had to be sedated (with a shot of grandpa's white lightning, natch)
