Jan. 12th, 2004 06:04 pmHaven't posted in a while, so I probably have a flood of them coming -- my usual SOP. I had a fantastic, relaxing weekend, which is a great thing as my next couple weekends are booked.
Far too many years ago, I went to an all-guy Catholic HS just north of Washington DC. Every MLK weekend (no significance to MLK, it's just a 3-day weekend in January) some HS friends get together in the Maryland panhandle and we do the male bonding thing -- poker, beer, pool, video games, that sort of thing. I missed last year's due to biz stress, so I'm looking forward to this year's. This is the fifth Biohazard Weekend we've done. I fly into Pittsburg Friday, then drive through West Virginia into Northern Maryland. Then, Monday, I drive back and fly to Atlanta for a week of work with my main client. I fly back Sunday night, so I'm going to be out of the subtropics for 10 days...three of them in a mountain cabin. I'm missing the next two weekends, bah.
