I put an offer on the boat this morning. No word back, yet. I'm hoping to talk him down a bit in price.

It's hard typing with my fingers crossed.

And, in the vegetable department, I sprayed this chrysanthemum-based pesticide on my tomatoes and peppers (at night so hopefully I'll avoid nuking any happy bees). I used it a couple years ago and it kept the japanese beetles from gnawing my basil to pieces, so I'm hoping it'll work against the aphids. I prefer the slightly-more-organic, but I'll use Sevin if I have to.


I can't believe I spelled chrysanthemum correctly the first time ;)
