Went hiking today with a friend at Red Top Mountain, a park on a local lake. The leaves are starting to turn, but we're still a week or so from peak. Still trying to get the hang of my new cam. Here's a shot around the lake bend:

Once the sun started to head down, we kept seeing deer everywhere. We came across a beautiful 5-point whitetail buck, but the light was low and I jiggled the cam.

Fun day. I'm exhausted, though. Think I'll be getting some sleep soon.

What kind of camera is that? It seems to take some really clear shots? Is it one of the Sony digitals?

It's an Olympus D-490 Zoom. My mom has had one for a year or so and she's taken some great shots with it. I'm still trying to figure the thing out, but it does do a great job.
