Me: "Hmmm, it's been 15 years since I've done that..."

Very weird perspective about being 41. When I was, say, 25, 15 years prior meant pre-pubescent, punching the girl you liked on the arm, and lots of cartoons. At 40-41, 15 years prior means post college degree, professional job, and a lot of fun travel.

Life moves kinda fast sometimes. I suppose I'd feel uneasy about it, except that life (for all of its current curve balls) is pretty great right now, and has been for quite a while.

I hear ya --- I find it odd to be referring to "20 years ago" .. when I first started out on my own. Granted I was 16.. but still ! Hearing myself say "20 years ago... " is a weird feeling. But an ok one.. because most days I don't feel "old" or like the "best days of my life" have gone by yet..
