My wife's mom died about three years ago, and her father is getting re-married this weekend. So, we're off to Chicago/Indiana this afternoon. Should be kinda fun -- a good break from the work that's been throttling me for the last couple of weeks.
I may be in and out, depending on access, but if not, I'll see y'all Sunday night.

Re: when i see something like chicago/indiana
Date: 2001-04-22 03:42 pm (UTC)Today, I was just at the Barnes & Noble getting some books, and right on the corner of the shopping mall was a historical marker about one of Sherman's Brig. Generals using the house as his HQ once they captured the mountain. They probably planned to nuke the whole city from that very living room.
