I liked Paris a lot. But, I guessed either her or Elliott tonight. Something about Elliott's voice really bugs me and I was hoping it was him.

I think the producers of American Idol probably hoped it would be Elliott, too -- now they have no one to zoom in on when someone gets eliminated.

Statistically interesting -- four left, three guys, all white. In genre, though, very diverse. I'm thinking Chris and Kat for the final two, and I'd buy an album from Taylor tomorrow.

I never watched this show other than ten of fifteen minutes of auditions because they can be funny when not painful. However, I watched when Queen was featured--which I felt the producers were a bit dishonest in, but nonetheless, Elliot bugged me too. His voice, to me sounded like Ethel Merman singing Somebody to Love.

I can see the Ethel Merman resemblance. Elliott actually sang "On Broadway" Tuesday night in front of 40 million viewers. They had to pick a song from the year they were born, and that's what he came up with.
