I would love to see Rudolph Giuliani (former mayor of New York) and Ray Nagin (mayor of New Orleans) run against each other in 2008 for President. Forget governors and senators, political spouses and billionaire businessmen. These two are local officials who prove that they care about their cities and will abandon spin and politics in a true emergency. That's what we need in the White House, next time around. Maybe then, we won't have a chief executive who relies too much on delegation, or his prior opponent who delivers a bland, patrician few paragraphs void of any content.

Bring on the Mayors.

I just heard his interview from last night on Air America just now. The passion he has for his city is amazing. Wow.

That would be an amazing race and I'd be torn on which one to vote for.

Yeah, and that's such a refreshing difference between deciding which candidate one hates the least.

Good insight.
If YOU were running for president, I would vote for you.
