(no subject)

You know, in my old age, I've been turning more and more away from the concept of the death penalty.

Not so today -- if I could find the hackers that have hacked into my servers over the last couple weeks, I'd cheerfully shoot them in the kneecaps and munch on popcorn while they bleed to death.

When my machines go down for several days, it doesn't just affect my super-global telco company. My company is me, neither super nor global. I'm the one out several hundred dollars while these machines have to be reloaded from scratch. Meanwhile, some kid from the Slovak Republic just needs an extra machine on the net to test the security of other machines, so he hijacks mine.

Oh man, my sympathies. There is no punishment too great for a hacker.

I tend to agree with you on the death penalty but I'd also be spitting blood and ready to kill if i'd been screwed around by some hackers.
