I've always thought about doing an LJ matchmaker thing. Not necessarily a romantic arrangement, but I have LJ-friends who are not LJ-friends themselves and I wonder sometimes if they would get along.

Here's an interesting meme (stolen from a couple LJers on my friends list) in that vein:

1. Go to my user info page here.
2. Pick one person on my friends list you're curious about.
3. Comment with their username.
4. And I will tell you what I know about them.

Some friends, just for career reasons. nilo and demyankee and teaser because they are teachers, for example. You and me, if we weren't friends, because we're die-hard entrepreneurs and always will be, with all the pros and cons associated with that lifestyle ;)

Some, geographically: quest and laughingirl, for example, because they are both interesting LJ writers who live in NYC.

I figure that people meet each other often through other journals, though. I have a hard enough time keeping up with my own 110 friends, without foisting more on others ;)
