I've always thought about doing an LJ matchmaker thing. Not necessarily a romantic arrangement, but I have LJ-friends who are not LJ-friends themselves and I wonder sometimes if they would get along.

----

Here's an interesting meme (stolen from a couple LJers on my friends list) in that vein:

1. Go to my user info page here.
2. Pick one person on my friends list you're curious about.
3. Comment with their username.
4. And I will tell you what I know about them.

An excellent writer. Dark and gothy, and very sweet and intelligent -- a rare combination. She is deeply romantic, in much the same way that Dracula can be perceived as a love story.

A computer techie from Atlanta. I have never met her for some unknown reason, given all the time I lived there. She's a brain, and very feminine, and always speaks her mind. She can be zany. I like her.

Who would you match up for instance? And why?
Ready? GO! ;-)

That's an excellent question! Some time ago, you added me, and yet I don't believe we have ever reelly met. May I ask what interested you?

Ok, you are added! I know, takes an act of congress, blah blah. Looking forward to getting to know you. :)

Uuuuuh...if you happen to go back to yesterday, that is NOT a typical day in my LJ. But damned if it wasn't FUN!

She's great -- I've met her IRL several times. Sharp, wise, funny, and stunning. I could go on ;)

You know me, that all you had to say! The rest was a bonus though. :)

Some friends, just for career reasons. [livejournal.com profile] nilo and [livejournal.com profile] demyankee and [livejournal.com profile] teaser because they are teachers, for example. You and me, if we weren't friends, because we're die-hard entrepreneurs and always will be, with all the pros and cons associated with that lifestyle ;)

Some, geographically: [livejournal.com profile] quest and [livejournal.com profile] laughingirl, for example, because they are both interesting LJ writers who live in NYC.

I figure that people meet each other often through other journals, though. I have a hard enough time keeping up with my own 110 friends, without foisting more on others ;)

Yeah, never a dull moment with her. She's a wonderful person, if you can get used to the 50,000 emails ;-P

Recently I added [livejournal.com profile] bigzen and have found him to be intelligent, humble, kind and very funny as well...an overall good fellow IMO. What more can you tell me about him on a personal level without giving away too much of his COOL anonymity?

I've met him a couple times, and he as you say. He has great stories, and a great way of telling them. He's seen a lot of the country, of which I'm envious. He's the kind of guy who can walk into a biker bar or a college lecture hall and seem right at home in either.

I am not sure how I ended up within your journal, but did and saw this idea of yours... so, as I am looking for a friend of yours, I notice that you lived in Coral Springs before... That is where I grew up and still live.

So...uh, "warwick'?

I lived there in 1979, give or take a year -- back before the Sawgrass Expressway was built and Coral Springs was really just a literal rock-throw from the Glades.

Warwick is a computer entrepreneur in Australia. He has a family, he's a strong Christian. He's very sweet and likeable.
