So it looks like the new AC might be installed Thursday. If not Thursday, then definitely Friday. They have the AC, and the people to install it, but they don't have access to a freaking crane to lift it to the roof. Yes, for some strange reason, all the AC units in my neighborhood are on the roofs (rooves?) of the houses.

It's a little humid today. *pant*

Just in case there was any doubt on my thoughts in the matter ;)

yeah, i wasn't sure =D
do you have a car you can carelessly cruise around in with AC so you can cool off?
or better yet, can you cruise in your boat to a nice spot and jump in the water there? ahhhh! i'll join you!

Yeah, I've been taking long lunches :)

Happily, there is a spare bedroom in my house that never was air conditioned, and there's an AC window unit in that room. At least I can sleep there. My office, though, is toasty with all these computers.

hmm. you can't temporarily move at least one computer to the spare bedroom so you can work there? =) or is it too much work that will get you even sweatier?

Alas, I have a ton of computer equipment. Perhaps literally.

do you think they put it on the roof to keep the roof from blowing off in a hurricane?

Could be. I can't imagine why someone thought that would be a good place -- "Let's find someplace cool to keep the condenser from overheating. How about a rooftop in Florida?"

Thanks for the arrow and text. I thought that was the bilge pump. ;)

Yes...I'm kidding. :)

Heh. It's about as useful as my old bilge pump, but would perhaps work best as an anchor right now.

Ha ha. It's actually sort of a peach color. Which probably isn't much better ;)

S'okay. Only a person confident in his masculinity, can sport a peach house.

...Don't hit me. :)

It's the ex-Georgia in me. Georgia is the peach state, of course, and it keeps me from getting homesick.

Well, maybe the ocean has something to do with that, too...
