So Fidel Castro's doctor says Castro is healthy enough to live to 140. Guess that means the beardy putz is gonna go any day now....

Longevity -- I hear the 17-year cicadas are back in the Eastern States. I remember the last time back in '87 when I was living outside of DC. The noise was unreal. We dont' have them here, but it is definitely love-bug season. My poor car.

Apparently, they sync up because they're slow, so there's safety in numbers:

They are the freakiest bugs (cicadas) ~ especially right after they've hatched ~ all white, soft and crawling around by the thousands...blech...shiver.

Those love bugs used to drive me crazy ~ never could get them completely off the front of my car...ate some of my paint off with their acidic blood/fluids. Garrrr!
