I have a major, major bug in my code and I haven't tracked it down yet. Annoying.
Kick the stress up a notch...I have two days to fix it...

I agree. Let some "fresh" eyes look at it.

Unfortunately, it's just me on this particular project. I'm thinking it might be a bug in the drivers, though. That would be good, because it wouldn't be my fault. But it would be bad, because I don't know when I'd get a fix...
Annoying Cliche, but....
Also, ( since I have no idea what drivers you're talking about)...Did you check out www.drivers.com ? Its mainly PC Stuff, but I've picked up BSD drivers there before.
Good Luck.

I'm a PeopleSoft programmer and most of my projects are the same way. I'm the only one on the project so I can't get anyone to help.
My solution (although EXTREMELY frustrating) always comes to me when I give up, go home and relax. Then I wake up dreaming about code or it comes to me in the shower. Wish I could give better advice.
Can you talk it out with a co-worker? Even if they aren't looking at the code, sometimes just saying it gives you that *aha!* moment.
(hope you didn't mind me browsing)

I Use Humor to Mask the Pain...
Bwaahahahah...:)
Okay, that's a goddamned lie!
Truth is, I can't stop laughing...
Hehehehehehehh!
Anyway, I must scold you, Mensa (Not THAT kind of scolding. Peter, you hooch). Here, the poor man is trying to figure out something intel-ek-chew-awl, and you're distracting him with bosom and bondage photos. I swear, you're even worse than Nickolodean (

But I gave Ms. Lark a talking-to, and she promises to never do it again. :)
