The Holidays.

My folks were in this weekend, so a lot of Christmas shopping and stuff ensued. Yesterday, they had some friends over that live nearby, and I cooked some Chicken Marengo (one of my favorites), then went fishing for a few hours.

They just left this morning for a couple days, then my entire family descends on my place Christmas Eve for a couple days. I get along with my family -- we all get along with each other pretty well -- but it will be a little overwhelming when they're all here.

In the meantime, I have a couple days.

It's a secret. Or, more accurately, I'm not sure yet. Heh. Actually, I know two out of the four dishes, and I know the theme, I just have to think up the rest. Looks like there will be 10 for dinner this Christmas, not as bad as some years, but still a lot of cooking. Pictures will be forthcoming soon after :)
