Michael Gambone to play Dumbledore in new Potter film. I can see that. I don't think the buzz is what it's cracked up to be...although I love the old coot, Dumbledore is kind of a one-dimensional character.

Gary Oldman as Sirius Black? Now that, I love! That'll be fun.

I've said it before, Gary Oldman can play anyone. In fact, I wager he could even do Dumbledore. BUT, as Sirius -- oh yes, he's going to rule. Gary and Alan Rickman on the set will certainly be interesting.

BMW makes some short films about a fictional driver-for-hire that the rich and famous hire for odd projects. They're good stuff, about 5-10 minutes long, with an all star cast. Check this one out, with Gary Oldman as the devil. (Click on "Beat the Devil")

Rickman and Oldman facing off will be even better than Ford and Oldman facing off (a la Air Force One). I think I will melt! heh heh Although I so wish Ewan McGregor could have played Lupin *shiver*

Perfect casting I think. Oldman can play anyone, and he should be fantastic as Black. I've a bit of a crush on him, and have a mad and passionate crush on Alan Rickman, so I'll be seeing this flick for sure.
