So, do any of you use background/foreground colors for your friends list? Some friends-list styles and formats don't use the colors too much, but I use the one where your icons are surrounded by color.

What color am I on your friends list?

I used to match my friends' colors to their icons, but then LJ started allowing people to have multiple icons and that screwed everything up. So now everyone is black on white. :)

I don't use them. I kind of started to in the beginning, but, I couldn't decide if I wanted to go with trying to match the colors somehow to the individual people... or trying to use colors for *groups* of people. Then I realized my Friends List view doesn't really use the colors anyway. :)

with my current style no one has colors...but i get to see everyone's pretty icons.

I haven't designated any special color for you, though I have a lot of people listed who do have colors. When I first started my LJ, I was really into making everyone a different color...I picked the colors based on the colors of people's icons (this was back when we could only have 1 userpic). Problem is that after a while, I ran out of "pretty" color combinations, and the number of userpics we could have went up, so I just stopped doing it.

mine are all currently black and white. i used to have colors, though. i think you were purple on black. all of them had black backgrounds. =x

I went the colorless route....
Too much of a production to figure out who gets what color and whether this persons color is too similar to that persons color..
I tried it, and then said buh bye colors!

you are black text on dark grey background... you used to be black on a white. but i dont actually recognise the colours as much as i recognise icons though...

White & Black .... Your the only one that combo on my list :)

I don't use colors--just black on white. I used colors for a while, but found it harder to match people to colors as my friends list grew.

You're periwinkle purple for the background and navy blue for the text. The blue is for the sea and the purple...mmm, I don't know. :)
