Jul. 22nd, 2009 07:48 pmIndex finger is a lot better, but I keep bumping it on everything, from typing to changing diapers to my own forehead in the middle of the night, and it hurts like an tactical nuclear explosion every time I do. It's kinda wearing me down, just the after-effects of the adrenaline spike each time I hit the stupid thing. It's still too...medical...to even think of taking a pic of it, but it is actually healing pretty nicely and I'm happy that there's no sign of infection. Now that I can see it a little better, it's not as bad as I thought it was after it happened. I've always healed quickly, but I can't wait until I can just slap a bandaid on this thing and start using it again.
I'm still mad that I did it, though. Some chefs consider it lucky to cut yourself cooking, but it seems a little like sailors whistling for a wind to me.
