8 days meme
Dec. 16th, 2008 07:58 pmDay 5:
I always make a four-course meal for Christmas Eve for my family. Dinner guests have been as many as 16, as few as 8. It's always a secret theme, tying the courses together. This year, I reversed the secrecy, and on Thanksgiving, I asked my guests to choose an ingredient, Iron Chef style. I knew nothing about the debate and decision process. They had until today to decide (I'm not an Iron Chef -- I need a week instead of an hour), and I finally got the results.
Coffee.
There will be a lot of wide-awake guests at the end of this meal.
