It was a little freaky for a while. We had a tornado touch down nearby, we lost power for a while, the wind was pretty nasty, and we got probably 6-10" of rain. But, now it's sunny and the power is back on, though the wind is still howling.
I've lost count of how many named storms I've been through...over 10, but probably less than 20. At least we get some notice these days. I couldn't imagine going through one of those 100 years ago, right out of nowhere.
