Cool toy, but takes a while to load. I can see how the interests it chose are similar to rare interests I have, but they're not quite right. As usual, I cannot resist the temptation to add commentary:
Solar Power -- Interesting, but I'm more into a hydrogen economy, with the future of power generation being fusion.
Alternative Energy -- Yes, but not in the way most environmentalists mean it
Caesar -- Sorta. I'm more interested in the underdogs like Carthage than Imperial Rome.
Global Warming -- Not interested. I think it's happening, I also think it's overhyped.
Herodotus -- Never been into Greek legends.
Universal Health Care -- I'm interested, but only in ways to prevent it.
Elections -- Bingo.
Stem Cell Research -- Very interested, but I think we need to move away from fetal research. There are stem cells in body fat, and we vacuum up and throw away more fat in America than we literally know what to do with. If we do succeed in finding cures with stem cells, the cures stand a better chance of working with our own DNA (like, say, from our gut-fat) than some anonymous donors. Okay, hot topic here, I guess.
Classical Civilization -- Interested, moderately. Depends on the civilization (see Caesar)
Catullus -- See Herodotus, change the nationality
Rock the Vote -- Yawn
The Constitution -- Bingo
Fuel Cells -- You betcha.
Hadrian -- His wall in England, more than Hadrian himself.
Fuel Alternatives -- Only in that hydrogen is an alternative
Classical Studies -- See Classical Civilization
Ovid -- See Catullus, keep the nationality
Ancient Greek -- Mildly interesting
Congress -- Yep.
Health Care -- Interesting, from a medical point of view, not the administration side.
