Biz is going well. Sparse, yet when I look back, it's amazing what has been accomplished so far. Potential investments might be coming my way, which might let me sleep a bit. In the meantime...it's fun. Stressful, yet fun.
Florida was nice. Fishing in warm waters, day and night for a couple days straight. My father and I fished on the beach in the surf. I'd throw a castnet into the breakers and catch finger mullet for bait, then we'd pull in bluefish after bluefish. At one point, I hooked a 2-foot fish that leaped into the air several times before dropping off. I pulled the line in and the leader had been pulled completely out of shape. I think that might have been a small tarpon instead of a blue. The acrobatics and color make it seem so. I've never caught a tarpon, yet. Perhaps I still haven't ;)
The Gulf hurricanes have sucked all the humidity from the Florida Atlantic coast. At night, the Milky Way was bright and twisted across the arch of the nighttime sky. I'm a city boy, and one that prefers the humid southeast US at that, so I've only seen the Milky Way a couple times in my life. Never in Florida, in the summer.
I've been reading LJ, but I haven't been posting. I'm kinda in a posting rut. All my focus and creativity is on biz lately, and will be for a few more months until things stabilize a bit.
