Damndamndamn.

Spent all morning sterlizing my PC after my mother, of all people, sent me a virus. pe_magistr_b, you are now banned from my machine.

Nasty one. It takes a random Word doc and puts a chunk of it in as the email body (as it emails everyone you know), so I wasn't tipped off by the normal "This is cool, run this" amateurness. The email actually sounded like the attachment would have been a normal thing, though it was a .pif and that should have set off warning bells. As soon as I clicked it, I knew what happened, so I shut off my email program and scanned my PC.

toddney has asked the age-old question: which three CDs would you bring on an island with you. The ones you can't do without. Todd's gonna compile the answers and post the results. The votes so far are leaning toward the classic rock, so I know my choices probably won't make the cut:
