One of the places-I-must-visit is Nairobi, Kenya. I'd like to do the safari thing, climb Kilomanjaro, but also eat at the Carnivore restaurant. Carnivore is supposed to be this massive meat-heavy luau kind of a thing where waiters wander between tables with slabs of meat from the everyday (beef and chicken) to the exotic (antelope and zebra), slicing off chunks of meat and filling your plate.

Ate at this restaurant in Atlanta yesterday, Fago de Chao. It's sort of a Brazillian Carnivore, though the meat is less exotic. You have this coaster, green on one side, red on the other. Waiters wander through the restaurant with huge slabs of beef, pork, chicken, sausage, and lamb, looking for green coasters. When you have to take a break from being inundated with meat, you flip the coaster to red and they (mostly) leave you alone. Fabulous place! The meat was seasoned very nicely and everything tasted absolutely amazing.

Oh -- I am in love with MTVX. Videos. Nothing but videos. No VJs, no commercials (other than the occasional MTV self-pat on the back), no reality shows, no game shows, no specials, no rockumenteries, no pseudo-news or pseudo-documentaries. Just videos, from Napalm Death to The Who to Limp Bizkit to Staind. MTV will have to screw this up sooner or later, it's just too good to be true.
