petermarcusMy business lines finally got activated today. Well, they were on last Wednesday, but US domestic only. I couldn't make an international call until today. I spent the rest of today entering rates into my database. I have 840 separate rates. Most of this is for different city codes within a country (it's cheaper to call Caracas than the rest of Venezuela) so I suddenly got an up-close-and-personal repeat course in international geography.
How some countries run their phone systems, I'll never understand.

I tried to download the Unreal demo today, but it stopped after 25MB. This is probably a good thing ;) I'm still somewhat addicted to Max Payne, and I just found the Max Payne level editor, so I've been toying around with that.... At least it's a distraction. Nothing better than shooting mobsters and corporate security goons after staring at international rate tariffs for four hours.

I think I'm going to head back down to Florida the first weekend in October. A long weekend on the beach sounds like a good thing.
