Yeah I've seen them surf the wake before when we were diving in Hawaii and other places but this photo makes it look like they're soooo close, wow, how wonderful, I wish I'd been there.
I love the picture with the tags next to all of the stuff in your car. My car looks sooooo much worse than that after a trip.
i've had dolphins come up to me that close before, BUT i was in a kayak, not in a boat with a motor. i can't believe they got that close, you'd think they would be afraid of that.
I think bumming some fresh fish trumped the motor. Or he was just having fun surfing our wake. He knew right where that motor was and got up next to it without getting close. Smart dude.
It was a cool tree. I passed it on the way to Hilton Head and my camera was in my bag. So, when I headed back, I made cure the cam was out so I could catch it on the second pass. I'm not entirely happy with the shot, I really am a so-so photographer...the real tree was a lot more awesome. You could tell it had been through a few hurricanes.
[You said gourmetiated! *beavis and butthead laughtrack here*]
I wanted to add: I saw a commercial where Frankie Avalon is selling his self tanner....but the kicker? It comes with a small bottle of 'glow'.
What is glow you ask? ITS FRICKING RED LIQUID BLUSH! So you get that 'hint of red' to make your tan look more realistic. Isn't that PSYCHOTIC? WHO WANTS RED?!??? Sure, women could use it as blush, with a light hand, but... oy! LAME LAME LAME! And in the commercial, he puts some on and you just want to scream- Noooooo! Oh its bad. Its very bad. But if I had some, I could make me look like you :D That picture is just the Frankie Avalon poster boy for his self tanner products! *snort*

Date: 2002-06-19 06:03 pm (UTC)So all I need is some Glow(TM) and a few more fishing trips, and I'll be somewhere in between Wayne Newton and George Hamilton!
