So the lovely radio goddess
nbbmom points out to me yesterday that there is a new all-80s radio station in Atlanta (The Max, 105.3FM). I was a bit worried that it would be nothing but Lionel Richie and Olivia Newton John songs, but it's not bad! The Police, Corey Hart, Devo, it wasn't too bad. Okay, one song from John Cougar (Mellonhead), but it was Jack & Diane, which isn't too terrible.
The station isn't enough to get me away from the modern stuff, I'm not that nostalgic, but it's fun.
I wonder if they'd play Loverboy, Turn Me Loose?

Re:
Date: 2002-02-20 01:12 pm (UTC)Martha Quinn did one of their self-promo pieces, a pretty long one.
*sigh* Martha....my teenage hormone idol... ;)
Re:

Martha does some syndicated 80's show I believe, as does Nina Blackwood.
I think I'd go batty if I jocked there. Too much 80's would drive me to the edge of insanity. ;)

It's fun for a break, but it's not gonna be my #1 station. I'm to into Injected at the moment.
