(no subject)

78 hours since my last cigarette. I've been chewing gum because of this annoying taste in my mouth. Not as jumpy today as I was yesterday -- day 3 is always the hardest for me.

This nicotine patch stuck to my chest seems to be helping.

I keep tugging on my beard under my lower lip -- I don't know what to do with my hands or this oral fixation-withdrawal. (That was not meant to be an erotic sentence...but then again, there it is.)

Toxins?

What does it take to flush the toxins? 3 days? Maybe that is the rub at the 3-day point. I need to do the same. Smoking and staying in shape do not seem to follow. There, threw a bucket of cold water on that thread :)

I think I will wait to quit until I have a stack of women friends to post geographically teasing innuendo. I think I should perhaps line up some lung donors first though.

I think 3-days is when the nicotine half-lifes down to nothing, but then there are days after that while the nerve synapses complain about the lack.

Then again, I'm on the patch thing, so I think I'm getting some sort of maintenance going on.
