Global Warming....does it exist? Is it caused by humanity? Is it nothing more than a warm period (such as the one that occurred around 1000AD)? Are we just leaving a temporary cold period--a "Little Ice Age"?

Well, fret no more. If it gets too warm, NASA is figuring out ways to move the whole freaking planet!

Well, I'll reserve my comments about global warming, and just say that if that article had appeared somewhere other than on the CNN website, I would have thought it was a joke.

Come to think of it, I still think it is a joke. Cold fusion, anyone?

I can buy the asteroid sling-drag in theory (how to get a 60 mile asteroid moving on the correct trajectory is another problem).

I wouldn't want to be within several hundred miles of the Pacific ring of fire when they tried it, though. Or any coastline, for that matter.

Think I'd prefer to be on another planet by then.

Hmmm... if it gets warm enough, we could all move to Mars.
