The local paper, Florida Today is doing a feature about food blogs. They came out tonight to interview Christey and me cooking one of our POM recipes for FotoCuisine.

Interesting experience. The paper is now pretty firmly multimedia (they're owned by USA Today/Gannett) and it was video for public access, and photography for the web and the print paper in next Thursday's Lifestyles section. So, here I am cooking lamb chops with a pomegranate reduction and instead of Christey's camera in my zone, I have another photographer's as well, plus video, plus both asking me questions. Cooking, and answering, and weaving around people and lighting in my galley kitchen, plus working past all the normal child-proofing in the kitchen, I honestly don't remember three-quarters of what I said.

The questions were pretty good food-blog type stuff, but interestingly it was more toward how Christey and I work together and the steps we take to put out a post, and involving the kids with our cooking. I was sort of expecting some food-based questions -- where do you shop, what's your favorite ingredient -- and it looks like it's definitely more of a lifestyles-type article instead of a foodie-type article.

Fun way to spend a Thursday evening. Plus, there was lamb!
