We had a good sale on filet mignon this Memorial Day weekend, and even though the steak snobs consider it overhyped, I still like it.
I made some fresh roasted tomato, fried up some bacon, and stuffed the steaks with rice, bacon, tomato, feta, and herbs. Then, I grilled the steak and made a tomato-basil sauce aurore, and piled some more feta and herbs over everything when it was done. Really yummy!
