Our condo is on the Indian River, with a view North through East, which gives a perfect view of shuttle or other launches from Cape Canaveral (about 20 miles away). Even in the daytime, the launches are spectacular. Night launches are completely amazing.



Or so I am led to believe. It doesn't help when I forget that there's a night shuttle launch until 8 minutes after the thing takes off.
