My fiancee
behindtheview the photojournalist is standing on the shuttle runway right now, meeting Steve Fossett, standing 5 feet from the Global Flyer (which flew in to stage for the next round-the-world distance attempt).
Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of the moving launch pad gizmo thing that carries the space shuttle from the assembly building to the launch areas. Tomorrow she's heading back to NASA to ride one.
I sit in a windowless office and write software all day. Where's the justice in that?
