Not too bad, so far. Dennis is giving us some pretty strong winds, and the waves in the canal are pretty high, but the water is still a couple feet under the seawall and the tide is going out right now, so things are looking okay. I'm in the very first evacuation zone for hurricanes, but there's just an advisory right now (i.e. the city's cover-our-butt alert) so we're gonna ride it out.
A mango broke off my neighbor's tree and landed in my yard, so snack time in a couple days when it ripens.
We'll probably lose power at some point, just because we usually do, but as much as I don't wish a hurricane on anyone, I'm glad it's heading away from us.
