Dec. 31st, 2004 01:59 pmToday was my last day at the dayjob. In fact, a couple minutes ago was my last couple minutes at my dayjob. I'm currently a free agent. Until Monday, that is, when I start the new dayjob.
Words cannot express how happy I am to be moving on from this place. It's not a bad company by any means, but I had been shuffled from department to department until my duties did not even resemble a shadow of what I had originally signed up for. Oddly enough the new dayjob is at a place run by the guy that hired me in the first place (and later got fired himself), so it's going to be a weird deja vu thing. But, at least it will be someplace new!
