I've been thinking it's Friday all day today. So I've had a steady stream of little, tiny, instant disappointments every time I realize it's actually Thursday.

Travel seems to be ramping up again. Northern Michigan July 31st weekend for a friend's 30th birthday party. Probable Long Island trip the first week of August. Atlanta around Labor Day. Vegas the 10th-12th of Sept.

The dayjob has been consisting of reading documentation of someone else's code and pointing out inconsistencies. In the documentation, not the code. Someone shoot me now.

I read
This wonderful article about the decline of reading in America, by my favorite columnist, George Will. There is this quote: "But today young adults 18-34, once the most avid readers, are among the least." I patted myself on the back, metaphorically, as I'm quite the bookhound...until I realized I'm not in that demographic, and next month I'll be yet another digit removed.
