May. 11th, 2004 09:41 amSo I'm working away here in my home office. The next room is the living room and the octogenarian trio are chatting. Since one is hard of hearing and my grandmother is much worse, the volume levels are up on all three of them. So I hear the following:
D: What are you doing M? (M=my grandmother)
M: Changing my clothes.
D: But Peter is in the next room! He could just walk right in!
M: Peter has seen plenty of women. I don't have anything he hasn't seen before.
Now I don't know what's more disturbing -- my grandmother changing in the next room, or her believing I have seen plenty of women...changing.
