I'm posting a lot, for debugging. In reality, I'm downloading a 250MB (yes, MB) fix. So I'm impatient. And doing memes.

Boo!
Which Survivor of the Impending Nuclear Apocalypse Are You?
A Rum and Monkey joint.

You missed the full-on war that caused the widespread death of so many people because you were making yourself another espresso at the company's snack kitchen. Your life isn't anything of value, but you're here anyway - might as well make the most of it and set up a .com to rent movies to half-melted soldier carcasses. A couple of banner ads and you'll be laughing, you sick new media parasite.

Vaguely interesting, except the girl in the picture is cuuuuuuute.

Geek post

Okay, after downloading 640MB of drivers, and finding they are all globbed together in an ISO format CD image, and then extracting and moving them to my Linux box, and then realizing that the freaking ISO image moved everything to uppercase so that I have to match the LiNuXCasESENsitIvITY format that the rpms prefer, and then installing them...

...they were compiled for a kernel that was three minor levels newer than the kernel I'm running now. So I have to rebuild the freaking kernel. For a bug fix.

And I'm still not sure the bug fix will fix my problem. I'm just hoping.
