Doing nine days of laundry, hauled through 2300 miles. Drinking soda now, to counter altitude-induced dehydration.
A small dram of whiskey sits by the last few chapters of a book, which in turn lies next to my bed. My own bed, that is, which will infinitely beat the couches and such I've been sleeping on for the last week+.
On a normal night, I could finish these 50-60 pages before the seductive embrace of sleep. Tonight, I'll be lucky if I finish the whiskey.
