Dec. 14th, 2003 05:32 pmOh yeah! Remember this post I made about the Atlanta Thrashers: http://www.livejournal.com/users/petermarcus/252639.html
I keep meaning to post about the ironic twist. The day after I posted that, a friend got two tickets to that game from her neighbor, and we went. The Thrashers kicked some Mighty Duck butt, 6-2. They were great seats and it was a fun game.
We left before Fuel played.
----
Family all went home, and I'm left with a bit more unpacking to do. I caught a redfish off my dock last night, an elusive fish that I love to catch as they fight well and taste better. A 14"-er, though -- too small, he went back. Just a little while ago, I was standing out there at high tide in the wind as the thunderstorms blow in, and I saw more redfish tailing under the neighbor's dock. Between the wind and the low height of his dock, I don't think I could cast under there, so they're just taunting me for now.
