Back online! And broadband, too!

All my stuff is piled all over the house. I am drowning in books that have to be shelved. I don't think I have enough shelving. I've done something like three thousand loads of laundry. My brain is only working in short sentences right now. And I have to work.

The full moon was lovely last night. I'll update soon.

Last night, the full moon rose right over the canal in my backyard. I was out on the dock fishing, dressed in a sweatshirt and jacket. After a while, I took off the jacket. It was getting too warm, casting over and over again.

Too warm.

In December.

Heh.

Hooked a couple good sized ladyfish, maybe 1.5 pounds each. So, I think I've broken in my dock ;)

Then, went inside, sipped some Gentleman Jack, and watched the remake of Battlestar Galactica on The SF Channel. With slight reservations, I have to agree with a bunch of people on my friends list who saw it -- I deeply expected it to deeply suck, and it didn't. It was actually pretty good. Better than most of the made-for-The-SF-Channel movies, which isn't saying much really, but I kinda liked the first episode. Tonight is part 2...

And, a ladyfish (from the ladyfish link above). Not edible in the slightest, but they jump and leap when caught. Fun!
