Dec. 4th, 2002 12:44 amEvery last soul must pay the last toll
In the dice game of life, who gets the last roll?
Is it the one with the suit? The one with the sack?
The one who hides behind his fucking gun and his badge?
-- The Transplants
I've been into these guys a lot the last couple days. Frontman is from Rancid, drummer is from Blink 182 and Rob Aston raps apoplectic. The piano and drums just rock. I love this song -- but feel somehow that I shouldn't.
--------
My investment guru called tonight and needs a half dozen more copies of my biz plan. So I raced the clock -- I have to give these to him in the morning as we're getting a double-barrel of freezing rain/icestorm tomorrow afternoon and this whole city will most likely shut down. I printed out pages and pages, correlated them all. I ran out of printer ink at one point and had to run to WalMart to get more as it was the only place open at 11PM on a Tuesday. The printouts finished at midnight, I ran to Kinkos and got them bound nicely, took 10 minutes, and now it's Miller time.
Or Rolling Rock Light time.
