1. What was the most stressful experience that you ever lived through? What helped you get through it?
My divorce. What got me through it? LJ of course! Nah, kidding. Just moving on got me through it, a bit at a time. I'm not entirely sure I *am* through it completely, though.
2. Why are you living where you are today?
I moved to Atlanta because of a job, which fell through. I found another one that was actually better. I've stuck around because it's a good city for what I do, but I'll move back to Florida in a year or two.
3. Have you ever met any famous people? Describe what happened.
I bumped into Sam Donaldson in the Washington DC airport once. I saw him coming my way (those eyebrows are unmistakable.) I thought of saying something kinda cool like, "Welcome back to Washington", but these two guys holding hands in front of me stopped him, batted their eyelashes and lisped, "Are you a *movie star*?" Sam rolled his eyes and detoured the other way.
4. Was there a chore you really hated doing as a child? Why did you hate it?
Mowing the lawn. I thought it was the most boring way to waste an afternoon. Of course, when I bought my house, and the lawn was *mine*...I loved mowing the lawn. My land!
5. Were there any fads during your youth that you remember vividly?
Skinny leather ties.
6. Has anyone ever saved your life? Describe.
When I was born, I almost died. Docs and nurses brought me through it.
