Vegas was a blast. Won $40 in roulette. Lost $60 in various other gambling activities. Overall, nowhere near my gambling budget.
Lots of biz contacts at the conference. I found a wonderful phone carrier about 5 miles from where my family lives in Florida. I have a meeting with them on Friday.
Last night, on the redeye home, we were 45 minutes late while the pilot said he was working on "paperwork." Then, red-jacketed Delta personnel and the pilot went to the back of the plane and removed five middle-easterners (three men, two women) and their luggage. A few vague comments about security precautions and how everything is really just peachy, and we took off.
I'm jetlagged and underslept. I fly to Florida tomorrow for some R&R and, suddenly, a biz meeting.
My primary Atlanta phone provider is still giving me issues to the point where I'm losing money with them. I think they may be history next week unless they make a sudden, complete reversal. My secondary Atlanta phone provider still hasn't gotten around to turning my lines on. Which is actually normal for providers, nothing gets turned on quickly. I'm not worried yet, but I'm looking for a tertiary provider, and that may be Florida.
