Jun. 2nd, 2002 02:34 pmMarine Survey a week from today, June 9th. The guy will basically go over every square inch of this boat and the engines, and tell me what shape it's in. I'm nervous about that. But, if it's not in shape, there are plenty more out there.
I'm more nervous about some faceless financing department. I should find out about financing on Wednesday or Thursday. Times like this, I wish I were a 9-5 IBM drone with a stable pension.
Nah.

Jun. 2nd, 2002 07:18 pmHeh.
I've done nothing today but play computer games and look at boating sites on the web. And get the marine survey scheduled.
But, I've got client #3 in the wings with a bug in his server. I told him I'd look at it when I had a chance. It's been hanging over me all weekend, cuz I really didn't know what was wrong and I was sure it would take a huge amount of debugging and trial and error. I just gave it a half-assed stab in the dark for grins...and I fixed it. Elapsed time, 12 minutes.
I could make a statement about procrastination...but I think I'll go read a book I just bought about late-19th century clipper ships.
