It was low 80s in Atlanta today. Then I had to get on a plane and arrive here in Boston, where I spent the last half hour driving in snow. Wheeee, spring!

My karma thinks she has a sense of humor, but sometimes I think I'm the punchline.

Just over six months ago, on my birthday, I got a new LJ friend: nbbmom. We immediately discovered we had lived in some of the same areas, and had even gone to High School a few miles apart. We probably were wallflowers at the same school dances. In the time between our birthdays we have gone from cyberspace to Mexico, from virtual "friend"ship, to the real thing.

Happy Birthday, Kym! I'll try to hunt down a Peach Martini recipe for LA ;)
