If at first you don't succeed in the ways of romance, then it's time to bring out the big guns. Yep, I mean none other than the Walrus himself: Shark Mating Woes
It's V-day. Despite all that has happened in the last year, I have always been sentimental about this holiday and I continue to be so. It is, beyond all the surface symbology and commercialism, a holiday of hope -- hope for happiness. For oneself and for another.
Last year at this time, I saw(*) the summer yet before me and was already mourning. This year, I have no valentine, at least at that depth of emotion, but I do have hope.
