Jan. 3rd, 2002 02:56 amYep, nearly 3AM. 4 hours in the airport waiting for the arriving plane to get here, then 9 (count 'em, nine) hours on the plane, on the taxiway waiting for deicing, then the pilots "timed out" due to FAA regs after 16 hours of duty and we had to head back to the gate.
Books read: Two 220 page books, cover to cover.
The ticket agents didn't forecast a departure tomorrow, with snow still falling. I figured I'd let my clients sort it out tomorrow (today), and I drove home in falling snow. Atlanta, the middle of downtown, on the biggest highway in the Southeast, and I actually couldn't figure out where I was for an exit or two -- the snow is that heavy. Not sticking much, maybe 2-3 inches of accumulation on unfrozen ground, but enough in the air to hide all landmarks.
I'm sucking down a beer, too exhausted to sleep.
