Florida...warm, humid, perfect. It's a little worrying with a hurricane churning around in the Caribbean, but it's beautiful here for now.
I flew in last night, on final approach we broke through the scattered clouds and the moonlight lit the ocean like a spotlight.
A lot of fishing, caught a couple trout and not much else. Figured I'd cook dinner tonight for the family...friends came over, a cousin, an aunt... I ended up cooking for 11. Spiced shrimp and chicken in my secret pesto, over angel-hair. Never cooked it in industrial sizes before. At one point I had all four burners going. By some incredible stroke of luck, every part finished at exactly the same time, and everything was cooked perfectly :)
